information about the Qur'an, translations, tools to help with memorisation of
the Qur'an and commentaries of the Qur'an. A recent addition to the site is a
number of interesting video clips explaining about the origins of the Qur'an and
an insight into the printing of the Qur'an at the complex.

The Saudi Arabian Embassy contains a multimedia section, allowing free viewing of Saudi Arabian TV live (in Arabic only) and short video clips about Saudi Arabian culture and Islam. The most interesting feature though, is a collection of archived Taraweeh prayers showing prayers being performed during Ramadhan at the holiest mosque in the world in Makkah (Mecca). Friday prayers from the mosque are also shown on Saudi TV at about 9pm NZ time every Friday night (10pm during daylight savings time).
